Sharing A Few Beauty Products I Love Lately.....

Moroccan Oil Treatment

Seriously this stuff is amazing, if you already haven't heard.  Moroccan Oil is a hair treatment that instantly absorbs the hair and immediately creates softness and shine to your hair. The direction tells you to put it on damp hair, but I also use it when my hair is dry. There are two kinds of Moroccan  Oil, one regular and one called the Light. They do the same exact thing, but the light is just better for light hair color because the regular oil might start staining the hair color over time, if you have light colored hair. The only down fall is, that it is not cheap. I believe it is around $40, but you might be able to find it cheaper online!

Bare Minerals

I am a huge bare minerals fan, but have never thought of buying their mascara. I always compare the Lancome mascara to other ones when I want to buy a cheaper brand and nothing has compared to Lancome until I discovered the Bare Minerals Flawless Definition.. Curl & Lengthen. It is pretty fabulous and does exactly what I want it to without creating clumps and the best part is, it is way cheaper then what I use to spend. The Bare Minerals Flawless Definition is only $18!

e.l.f (cheek highlighter)

I've never purchased makeup from e.l.f. before until recently. I've been looking for a new cheek light highlighter because the one I use to use would be sticky and I didn't like the way it felt on my face. I bought this e.l.f. product in the color of lilac petal (it only comes in two shades) and I loved it!! It doesn't make my face sticky or anything. You only put a couple dots on your upper cheekbone and you look like you are glowing and you can put it on your lids instead of a shadow or under a shadow to add shimmer. I bought this at Target and it was under $5!!

Let you know if you decide to try any of these and if you ended up liking them! If you have any beauty products that you want to share with me ...please do, I would love to hear what other people use and love. =)

Inspiration Street Looks In Singapore

I am loving these nude color high waisted pants w/this vintage graphic tank tucked in.

These leather high waisted shorts are perfect for the season along w/this elegant blouse.

I love this loose white dress. Its so effortless.  The only thing I would change is the black sandals,  I would pair it up  w/gold ones and a small messenger bag.

I'm obsessed w/this classy look..except instead of the black purse,  I would pair this outfit with a bold red bag to add color and to bring out the red lips =)

I love everything about this look. I wouldn't change anything about it. The blouse is so pretty and love how the shoes tie it all in.

Some Fashion Shoots!

As some of you may know I'm a freelance wardrobe/personal stylist and every opportunity I get I try to continue on building my portfolio. I wanted to post some images of shoots I've been working on lately. I'm really happy with the results =) Please feel free on giving comments. Which one is your favorite??

Want Healthy Hair? Read My Article!!

Who doesn’t want their hair to look as fabulous as their outfit? We all know that having a healthy diet and exercising is beneficial to your body, but there are certain foods that will help provide great healthy hair, too. Read the list below, try a few of my suggestions… then go out on the town and flaunt your luxurious mane!

Top 10 Ways to Eat Health for your Hair:

1. Salmon. Salmon has omega 3 fatty acids and it is also filled with vitamin B-12 and iron. The omega 3 fatty acids help the scalp from getting dry and dull. If you don’t eat fish, you can add one to two tablespoons of ground flax seed in your diet.

2. Dark green vegetables. Spinach, broccoli and Swiss chard are all excellent sources of Vitamin A and C. The dark vegetables also provides calcium and iron in your diet.

3. Beans. Legumes, like kidney beans and lentils, should be an important part of your hair-care diet. Not only do they provide plentiful protein to promote hair growth, but ample iron, zinc, and biotin too. Biotin shortages can result in brittle hair.

4. Brazil Nuts. This is one of my personal favorites. Brazil nuts are one of nature's best sources of selenium, an important mineral for the health of your scalp.

5. Walnuts. Walnuts contain alpha-linoleic acid, an omega-3 fatty acid that may help condition your hair. They are also a terrific source of zinc, as are cashews, pecans, and almonds. Having a shortage of zinc can lead to hair shedding, so make sure walnuts are a regular on your healthy hair menu.

6. Poultry. Meaning chicken and turkey – both great sources of protein. A lack of protein in your daily diet can provide loss of hair color.

7. Eggs. It doesn’t matter how you like your eggs, as long as eggs are included in your diet; they are one of the best sources of protein. Plus, eggs contain both biotin and vitamin B-12.

8. Whole Grains. Whole grains contain zinc, iron, and B vitamins. They are also a great source of energy.

9. Oysters. Oysters lead to healthy hair thanks to their hair-boosting amount of zinc. Zinc is a powerful antioxidant. If oysters aren’t something you like or eat regularly, don't worry, you can also get your zinc from whole grains, nuts, and even beef or lamb.

10. Low fat dairy products. This includes skim milk, yogurt, and cottage cheese. You can also increase your benefits by adding a couple of tablespoons of ground flax seeds or walnuts for omega 3 acids and zinc.

11. Carrot. I love carrots! I always eat carrots with a light ranch dressing on side for a nice little snack. Carrots are excellent source of Vitamin A, which promotes a healthier scalp and vision.

So read up, then eat up! Feed your body, feed your soul, and while you’re at it, feed your hair. It deserves our love, too, right? Enjoy…
